Shapiro Law Firm is located in Ocean County but serves the entire New Jersey! The answer to this question is not so simple. Technically speaking, you do not "need" an attorney to conduct a real estate transaction. Closing costs in New Jersey can range significantly depending on many factors. However, typically, one can expect to pay between 2% to 4% of the purchase price if you are a buyer, and between 5% and 7% of the purchase price if you are a seller.
